Victoria Smoller
Victoria was born in Uruguay and moved to the United States in 1997, where she has lived in Austin, Texas ever since. Throughout her life, she explored several career paths—including engineering, neuroscience, and chemistry—before discovering massage therapy, which she found deeply rewarding. This experience ultimately led her to her true passion: physical therapy.
After sustaining a low back injury herself, Victoria underwent physical therapy following unsuccessful attempts with several other treatment approaches. Her personal recovery experience strengthened her appreciation for the profession and inspired her to pursue a career dedicated to helping others heal and regain function.
She attended Austin Community College, earning her Physical Therapist Assistant degree in 2018. After gaining valuable experience working in multiple outpatient clinics, Victoria developed a strong desire to expand her knowledge and clinical skills. This motivated her to continue her education by pursuing a bachelor’s degree in physical therapy assistant and later enrolling at the University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston, where she is completing her Doctor of Physical Therapy program, with graduation anticipated in August 2026.
Outside of her professional life, Victoria enjoys spending time outdoors gardening, reading, and camping. She loves traveling with her almost 18-year-old daughter and attending music festivals together. Her greatest professional satisfaction comes from helping patients reduce pain, restore movement, and fully enjoy their lives. Above all, Victoria believes in living each day to the fullest and embracing life with gratitude and purpose.
